Gamification as a Tool for Social Change: A Case of Gender-Based Violence in South Africa

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is one of the most significant social issues affecting world, and just as in many other countries, GBV pervasive South Africa, where cultural norms gender-based customs traditions serve to condone reinforce abusive practices. According Article 13 Istanbul Convention, a preventive intervention requires heightened awareness first step changing attitudes behaviour that perpetuate different forms GBV. Hence, this study explores how awareness-raising can be effectively used strategy induce change associated with violence (GBV).
